RV Leveling System

What Our Clients are Saying

"Hitching, unhitching and leveling were the only things we really disliked about camping and now with the LevelEase even that chore is enjoyable.  It's comforting to know that if I ever need to, I can do it all by myself.  I can't imagine being without it."

JoAnn Carden — Winchester, CA

"This is the best thing since hot buttered popcorn! I love the fact that I don't have to hold buttons and can do other things while the LevelEase is doing its thing. I'm not sure how you guys get the LevelEase to do it, but we love it."

John Bevier — Lake City, MI

  • What is a RV Leveling System?

There are various methods and devices to assist you in leveling your RV. The greatest benefit of the LevelEase 5th wheel RV leveling system is the elimination of time and effort to properly place your fifth wheel trailer in position for connection and disconnection from the hitch. (top)

  • How does LevelEase prevent damage to my 5th wheel RV trailer landing gear?

Our RV Leveling System comes with a limit sensor to prevent over retracting. Factory landing gear fails to give you this limit switch or sensor. This means it’s very easy to accidently over retract the legs, creating hundreds of dollars in damage to your leveling jacks. (top)

  • Must I still bend over and lower the telescoping portion of the leg?

Ordinarily, "No!" If your fifth wheel RV trailer landing gear has enough throw in the leg (contact us: we'll tell you how to find out), just leave a few holes exposed. Then you can move from the travel position to the disconnect position without bending over and lowering the legs manually. It will take longer for the landing gear to move to the desired position. But you won't care! You are sitting in your lawn chair; not standing there holding that button! It’s no longer necessary. Before using this method, just make sure you don't max out the landing gear when you reach the disconnect height.  (top)

  • How difficult is it to install?

Simple, if you are the least bit mechanically inclined. It shouldn't take an average person more than an hour to install . Your LevelEase control box mounts vertically on the front or side plane, inside the forward compartment or in a side compartment of your RV trailer. There are 4 wires that need to be connected: power, ground and two wires to the motor. Then connect the leg position sensor. That's it!   (top)

  • If I want to have this installed, what do I do?

If you prefer to have the LevelEase installed professionally, contact us at (800) 700-9481. Or e-mail us at sales@levelease.com. We'll make arrangements to have the unit installed.  (top)

  • What’s included with the LevelEase?

The LevelEase leveling system comes with everything you need to install it on your 5th wheel trailer. There is a detailed installation guide and user guide. Occasionally, some additional hardware is needed for mounting.  (top)

  • How do I calibrate the LevelEase?

Calibration is done one time only. LevelEase remembers the positions of your trailer hitch, even if it loses battery power. Two items need to be set for install, disconnect and level. The Installation & User Guides outline the procedure. It won’t take more than a couple of minutes.  (top)

  • What are the dimensions of the LevelEase box?

The LevelEase box is 4"x 6" x 2.5". Allow at least an additional inch on the right side for the wires.  (top)

  • Will it work with my gooseneck hitch?

Yes!  That one was easy.  (top)

  • If my fifth wheel trailer is parked, the legs sink into the ground, will LevelEase still get to the correct connect position when I'm ready to leave?

Yes! The tilt sensor inside the LevelEase only cares about your trailer's angular position. The stored angular position for connecting will not change, even if the legs settle into the ground. If the legs settle, and you want to re-level, just press the Auto Level button. It will automatically level the rig.  (top)

  • If I cut the wires to my existing switch, will I lose the manual up-down function?

No! Your LevelEase RV leveling system has manual up-down buttons that replace your existing switch.  (top)

  • What do I do if I accidentally press the wrong button?

Pressing any button will cancel any automation or manual mode incorrectly set. And you can simply carry on without worry.  (top)

  • What is the magnetic sensor for?

It's your magic safety tool. The magnetic sensor automatically prevents over retraction of legs when you use the retract function. When you press the retract button for travel, LevelEase moves the front legs up until the magnet activates the sensor. Then the retracting stops and the motor shuts off. If the sensor becomes unplugged, damaged, or its wire is broken, you can still operate LevelEase on manual.  (top)

  • My 5th Wheel Trailer has dual motors. Will it work with my system?

Yes! But owners of dual motor systems need to purchase our dual motor version. The dual motor version includes an additional leg sensor and a toggle switch. The toggle switch allows operation of a single leg.  (top)

  • Will it level my 5th Wheel from side-to-side?

Because LevelEase utilizes the existing landing gear it only auto levels front to back. However, in dual motor applications, LevelEase can be used to level side-to-side via the up-down switches when in the single motor mode.  (top)

  • Is the LevelEase weatherproof?

Not Yet! Currently, LevelEase needs to be installed in a location that is not exposed to the elements.  (top)

  • How long is the warranty?

ADS warrants your LevelEase for as long as you own your 5th Wheel RV Trailer. It’s a 100% lifetime guarantee. We don’t know how to make it any better!  (top)

  • Do you charge for shipping?

No! ADS provides free shipping in the U.S.  (top)
